About our Founders
J B Sehrawat
Managing Director, Metaltech Group
J.B. Sehrawat, Managing Director and Chairman of Metaltech Group, is a visionary leader with over three decades of expertise in the automobile industry. With a background in engineering, he founded Metaltech on April 4th, 1992, transforming a small proprietorship into a leading company in the sector. His journey has been marked by numerous highs and lows, reflecting a story of resilience, struggle, and unwavering commitment.
His hands-on approach and customer-centric mindset have driven Metaltech's partnerships with major players like DRDO, Mahindra, and SML Isuzu (Swaraj Mazda). He emphasizes that the success of Metaltech is not just a result of strategic decisions, but the culmination of consistent hard work and the ability to overcome hardships. His philosophy in life is simple yet profound: "Do your work with fair intention and right efforts, and you will always taste success and positive results." By fostering a culture of ownership among employees, he ensures sustained growth and commitment to excellence. Outside of work, he enjoys music and spending quality time with friends and family.
Puneet Sehrawat, Director of Metaltech, is a second-generation leader who has played a pivotal role in advancing the company’s growth and scalability. He holds a background in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA, he joined Metaltech in 2010, starting from the ground up at a supervisory and managerial level. In 2017, he was promoted to a directorship position, marking a significant milestone in his career. Since then, he has been instrumental in guiding the company through a phase of robust expansion, immersing himself in research and development initiatives that have significantly enhanced Metaltech's product offerings. He inspires his team to excel and take personal responsibility for the company’s success. His strategic vision, commitment to quality, and problem-solving skills ensure that Metaltech continues to maintain its prominence in the industry. In his free time, he enjoys attending stand-ups, listening to music and spending quality time with family and friends.
